Hendricks County Clerk's Office
The Clerk’s Office is a Constitutional Office and is limited to two consecutive four year terms. The Clerk is the record keeper for all county level court cases; civil, criminal, traffic, probate and juvenile. The Clerk serves as Secretary to the Election Board and Secretary to the County Records Commission. The Clerk is charged with many varied duties some of which are: chief financial officer to the Courts by collecting, disbursing, and reconciling monies related to court cases. The Clerk collects filing fees, fines and court costs, judgment and restitution money, probation fees and child support. Other duties: issues marriage licenses, passports, records all judicial liens and State Tax Warrants and is responsible for the notification to all parties of record in court related cases.
