Normal Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Hendricks County Health Department is unable to process payment by credit or debit card.  Permits and Birth and Death Certificates must be purchased with cash, check, or money order.  For more information see vital records information at http://www.co.hendricks.in.us/health_vital_records.html 

Marriage Licenses are issued from the Clerk’s Office, on the 2nd floor of the County Courthouse.  http://www.co.hendricks.in.us/clerk.html 

Water bill payments and connections to public sanitary sewer are not handled by the Health Department.  The Health Department does regulate private water wells and individual on site wastewater system installation.  Please see our on-site sewage http://www.co.hendricks.in.us/Health_onsite_sewage.html and groundwater protection http://www.co.hendricks.in.us/health_groundwater_protection.html pages.  The Hendricks County Regional Sewer District contact is through the Commissioner’s Office at 317 745-9221, and other utility information is available by contacting the individual Town or utility.  Please check your utility bill for contact information.
