Hendricks County Health Department
Radon & Radon Testing


Radon is estimated to cause many thousands of lung cancer deaths each year making it the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States. You cannot see, smell or taste radon, but it still may be a problem in your home. To help increase the number of homes tested for Radon, the Hendricks County Health Department is offering Hendricks County residents short term radon test kits. These test kits are free of charge to Hendricks County residents, and must be returned to the Health Department immediately after you have tested your home. Test kits can be picked up at the Health Department between the hours of 8am and 4pm, Monday thru Friday. Here are some radon information links:
