The Hendricks County Planning and Building Department serves the public by providing long range planning, zoning enforcement, address assignments, residential and commercial building inspections, subdivision inspections, and provides technical assistance to individuals, towns, and other agencies.

Starting September 6^th , 2011 inspectors will be operating on winter hours. 
They will be in the office between 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. and will return from 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.
