Judge of Hendricks Superior Court 2 – 1991 to present. Judge Coleman is currently serving Hendricks County as Judge of Superior Court 2 for his 4th term. He was elected in 1990, 1996, 2002 and 2008.

Hendricks County Prosecutor: Judge Coleman was the Hendricks County Prosecutor from 1979 – 1990. Judge Coleman served Hendricks County as the elected prosecutor for 3 terms.

General Law Practice: Judge Coleman was a partner in the law firm of Kendall, Wood, Coleman & Kessinger in Danville, IN – 1983 – 1990. He maintained a solo law practice from 1976- 1978. Judge Coleman was a law clerk and associate attorney from 1973 – 1976.

Real Estate Broker – 1971- 1973

Teacher – Brownsburg High School 1970 – 1972

Education: Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis – Doctor of Jurisprudence 1974. Indiana State University – Bachelor of Science in Business & Distributive Education – 1970. Rockville High School, Rockville, Indiana – 1966.

            **While serving as Judge of Hendricks Superior Court 2, Judge Coleman has attended numerous seminars conducted at the National Judicial College at the University of Nevada.

            *Graduate Program for Judges, - Judicial Conference of Indiana 1998 and 1999.

            *Graduate of the Indiana Judicial College, Judicial Conference of Indiana – 2000.

Personal: Married to wife Carol since 1969. Carol and Judge Coleman live and raised their 2 daughters in Danville. They are now the proud grandparents of 3 grandsons. Member of Danville Christian Church since 1975.  Judge Coleman is a long time member of the Danville Rotary Club and served as its president from 2004 – 2005.
