Our office presently has over 3,000 open cases which are handled exclusively by one deputy prosecutor and three caseworkers.  We limit our phone hours in order to allow time to work on cases, return phone calls, and prepare files for court without interruption. Call volume is high during phone hours, so if you receive a busy signal it is because all available caseworkers are on the phone with other participants.
