A person is the best thing to happen to a shelter pet.

Hendricks County Animal Shelter is a community resource dedicated to promoting animal welfare. We provide temporary shelter to pets in need and promote adoption into permanent, loving homes. We work in partnership with the community to address problems associated with pet overpopulation, to promote responsible pet ownership, and to enhance the lives of the community through the adoption of loving animals.

The focus of efforts in the past few years has been on implementing new programs designed to decrease the euthanasia rate. We are still working on implementing these programs, so we need your help. Please consider donating today!
