ERIC WATHEN- REPUBLICAN
Eric Wathen is a lifelong resident of Hendricks County. He graduated from Tri-West High School and then went on to graduate from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with degree in Civil Engineering. He and his wife, Ann, live in Lizton where they raised their four boys. He has 24 years of experience in corporate civil engineering consulting. He reached the level of Sr. Director of Operations and Finance for a 130-person firm. For the past 5 years he has managed his own consulting firm. He has served both as a County Commissioner and Councilman. Eric believes in limiting the tax burden on the citizens while providing quality infrastructure and services for them. Changes are being made at the State House to the way property and income taxes will be set and distributed. The way local government is funded is going to drastically change over the next four years. Eric has both the private sector experience and local government knowledge to help Hendricks County and its residents through this transition. |
