BIOGRAPHY Jered Petrey is a Plainfield resident and Chief Operating Officer running for Hendricks County Council District 3. He has spent his career managing complex multi-site operations, overseeing budgets, leading teams, and building accountability systems in the healthcare and eyecare industry. Earlier in his career he spent over a decade teaching Career and Technical Education through broadcasting, connecting students to real workforce skills. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern Indiana and a Bachelor of Arts from Butler University. Jered believes government should work for the people, not national political parties or outside interests. With the county facing significant Local Income Tax uncertainty and a pattern of reactive budgeting, Plainfield and southwest Hendricks County need a representative who asks hard questions before problems happen rather than after.
