Because education is the cornerstone for personal progress, he advocates for robust investments in Indiana's educational system to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive without the need for local property tax referendums. While our Statehouse leaders have been more focused on culture wars than actually serving the people of this community, Robert is committed to working for you by reducing healthcare and living costs, recognizing the financial strain many Hoosiers face.
With extensive experience in military and civilian leadership roles, Robert brings a unique perspective to the table. Driven by a deep sense of duty and a passion for making tangible improvements in people's lives, he embodies the values of service, integrity, and commitment to a better future for all Hoosiers.

Greg Steuerwald

Greg Steuerwald

Greg Steuerwald resides in Avon with his wife, Christy. He has three grown children: Joshua Garver, D.D.S., Jordan Gorgievski, and Adam Steuerwald. Greg is a partner at his law firm, Steuerwald, Witham & Youngs, LLP.

Prior to attending law school, Steuerwald utilized his Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice by serving as a probation officer for two years. While attending law school at Indiana University-Indianapolis, he served as an intern in the Hendricks County Prosecutor's Office.

At the Statehouse, Greg is a leader on criminal justice policy. He authored legislation providing the foundation for a revision of Indiana's criminal code, which had not been updated in over 30 years. The new code provides for certainty in sentencing and keeps the most violent offenders in prison longer. He also worked to tighten loopholes in the state's sex offender registry to ensure criminals report any changes in address or appearance to local authorities.  In 2021, Steuerwald authored HB 1006 to fund increased training for Hoosier police officers and much-needed improvements to the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.

Greg has been named Legislator of the Year multiple times by the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council, Indiana Sheriff’s Association and the Indiana Chiefs of Police.
