ANTHONY GARY

Anthony Gary is a lifelong Hoosier and nine-year Hendricks County resident running for County Council to bring practical, forward-looking leadership to county government. A real estate veteran and managing broker of Indy Dwell Real Estate, Anthony has hands-on experience with smart planning, infrastructure, and fiscal discipline, skills that shape a community’s future and protect taxpayers.
Anthony is Ball State University Honors College graduate (Architecture) and holds an MBA from Butler University.  He is a Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation Fellow and a Leadership Hendricks County graduate, experience that sharpened his commitment to accountability, collaboration, and solving real-world problems.  Whether evaluating housing options or balancing budgets, he brings the same analytical rigor and common-sense approach.
Community is at the heart of Anthony’s life. He and his wife are raising their three children in Lincoln Township, where he coaches Brownsburg Junior Basketball and Brownsburg Girls Softball and volunteers at Traders Point Christian Church.  Those roles keep him grounded in the everyday concerns of families, taxpayers, and small businesses.
With energy, optimism, and a deep respect for Hendricks County’s values, Anthony is ready to work hard, listen closely, and deliver responsible, people-first conservative leadership, focused on keeping taxes low, neighborhoods strong, and opportunities growing.

JAY PUCKETT- REPUBLICAN

JAY PUCKETT

Jay Puckett is an experienced public servant running for Hendricks County Council.  Brownsburg has been home for 36 years, building deep roots in the community. He served on the Hendricks County Council from 2000 to 2018, where he established a record of collaborative leadership and sound fiscal management.   

With a 41-year career in banking, Jay brings expertise in public and private finance, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.  This professional background equips him to evaluate county budgets, manage taxpayer resources responsibly and evaluate financial decisions that balance current needs with future obligations.  His approach to fiscal management is guided by a biblical belief in stewardship-every tax dollar managed wisely, transparently, and for prioritized public purposes.

Jay is a graduate of Ball State University and The Wisconsin School of Banking. He is a member of the Brownsburg Rotary Club and serves on the Brownsburg Fire Territory Merit Board, supporting first responders.  His goal is to deliver essential services and infrastructure in the most economical way for taxpayers and to protect the quality of life that makes Hendricks County a great place to live, work and raise a family.  In 2014, he was named Hendricks County Leadership’s Leader of the Year.
