Ann Stark
My name is Ann Stark and I am running for Auditor of Hendricks County. My husband and three children have been remarkably supportive of this decision. My family's involvement with the county has, until now, consisted of playing sports, coaching recreation leagues, and attending church. This position will be a positive addition to that involvement. I have worked in the Auditor's office for nearly six years in a variety of positions that educated me in the processes of calculating and distributing property taxes, accounting, and my current position of payroll. My BS degree in Human Services Management will benefit me in the role of managing employees as well as developing relationships with other leaders in local government. My goal as Auditor is to be dependable, wise, and transparent. I intend to be a dependable resource for town leadership and bridge the gap between county offices and town councils with steady communication. I will be judicious in budgeting and making decisions on spending taxpayer's money. I promise to hold my office to a high standard with the taxpayers, providing support and education to taxpayers.
