At the age of 10, David Gaston began surveying with his father. In 1992, he became a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Indiana. In 1998, he began his service as the Hendricks County Surveyor. Since then, he has been elected as Treasurer, Central Vice President, and President of the Indiana County Surveyors Association and has received the following awards: |

David married his wife Kathy in 1983 and has four boys- Brandon, Mitchell, Logan, and Reece. The Gastons live near Stilesville and are members of the Hazelwood Christian Church where David has served as Elder, Chairman of the Board, Finance Chairman, Senior High Youth Sponsor, and Adult Sunday School Teacher. |
