The Hendricks County Surveyor’s Office is looking to get quotes for phase two of three on the Arbuckle drain. I have included the set of plans and below a scope of work.

 

  1. Continue removing the 2 existing tiles. (approx. 1800ft)
  2. All plastic pipe will be hauled away. Old concrete tile can be crushed and backfilled. (Will be further discussed at the walkthrough)  
  3. Starting at STA 101, install 907ft of 24” perf. HDPE virgin pipe.
  4. Install 48” manhole (STA 102).
  5. From STA 102, install 931ft of 24” perf HDPE virgin pipe.
  6. Install 48” manhole (STA 103)
  7. One existing manhole will need to be hauled away.
  8. Four, 24” 22deg turn fittings.
  9. Select trees will need to be removed and burned onsite.
  10. All new pipe to be installed with tracer wire over top of stone.  
  11. Hook up all working laterals through the duration. (10” laterals or larger will require tees).
  12. Finish grade, fertilize, seed and straw mat all disturbed grass areas.  
  13. The project will be relatively based off the plan and profile per Banning Engineering’s drawing.

 

       *All lateral hook up costs must be limited to:

         4”-6” $200 each

         8”-10” $300 each

         12” $400 each

 

The cost of stone and all materials will need to be included in the quote. All pipe to be bedded in stone and installed according to the manufacturer specifications and in accordance with the Hendricks County Storm Water Handbook. I will be doing a walkthrough on 6/28/23. at 10am (After Dirk’s Winfield precon). Please let me know if you will be attending. I Would like to have SEALED QUOTES returned to me by 4pm on 7/10/23 to be opened at 7/11/23 Drainage Board. This project will have a 45 day completion date from the time the lowest bidder is notified. Please make note on your bid that this is an ARP funded project.
