Per Inspector Dirk Leonard:
The Hendricks County Surveyor’s Office is looking to get quotes for work on the Glenbrook subdivision. This is an ARP job. I have included a job site aerial and below a scope of work. These will be sealed quotes to be opened at DB.
- Remove trees within the easement and haul offsite.
- Install stubs at MH for sump line as applicable.
- Finish grade, seed, and straw mat and repair any damage to lawns.
- Remove and Install Manholes and pipe according to drawing.
- Add rip rap where applicable.
- Starting with structure at Countryside ct. replace M/H with 48” to new elevation and pipe size.
- Install second 48” M/H at existing end section. Add beehive to ground level.
- Install approx. 670’ of 15” Solid HDPE including end section at outfall.
- Clear approx. 830’ of ditch on both sides removing sand bars and widening as needed.
- Remove fencing required for access and replace, remove existing culvert, and replace with box culverts according to drawing.
The cost of all stone and materials should be included in the quote. All pipe to be virgin and installed according to manufacturer specifications and in accordance with the Hendricks County Storm Water Handbook and technical standards. Straw mat to be double netted. I will be doing a walk through on the job site on 9-21-23 at 10:30am. Please call/email me by 9-20-23 to let me know you will be attending the walk through. You must attend the walk through if you would like to submit a quote. I would like to have sealed quotes returned to me by 4pm on 10-6-23. If approved the work will need to be done within 45 days as weather permits. These will be brought in front of the Drainage Board. If there are any questions, please call or email me. Thanks.
